Static Presentation Deck (4:3 PowerPoint Ready)

Slide presentation DECK version that accompanied the presentation BOOK that marketing execs used to present these proposals to clients. I design presentations exclusively in Adobe InDesign and then export each ‘slide page’ separately in JPG format which then is placed in 4:3 ratio PowerPoint presentations. I also export a PDF from InDesign which can also be used as a presentation and be distributed via email and other online sharing services like Dropbox, etc.

I was visually inspired by two 1970s ‘Mutual Of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom’ TV show and Paul Simon’s ‘The Boy In The Bubble’ music video for this project. I also wanted a ‘travel log’ storytelling theme by placing the reader as the ‘adventurist’. I felt the graphics should flow, like a dream sequence and imagined the imagery and type like wind through the savannas and the African skies. I also designed the main cover and project logo and other section logotypes.

The ‘travelogue’ idea was also supported by my involving our copywriter/show producer, who has a calligraphy background, contribute his handwriting to create a ‘diary’ feel to the layout and overall design. I may pursue this as an After Effects project to expand my skills in motion graphics since I am suggesting movement throughout the design and layout.

The ‘Landmark Entertainment logotype stamp’ was an actual rubber stamp used by company staff to stamp proposals, agreements and contracts! I had a lot of fun designing this and ideas just kept flowing out of me to tell a story.
