VISUAL REBRANDING FOR
BDPC Architects, Atlanta, Georgia
- ROLE
Freelance Remote Graphic Designer
Remote freelance work for an architect based out of Atlanta, Georgia. His original design work was dull and he needed a little magic and color to make his firm and architectural projects stand out and proceeded to develop visual and art direction ideas.
I proceeded to listen carefully to his ideas as to what he wanted his re-branding to look like and offered references for The Museum of Modern Art in New York and their look and feel.
I proceeded in going that route, visually exploring if it could be adapted. However, I realized that what the architect was developing and rendering in his architectural visuals, were what to dictate the look and feel.
His BDPC logotype, which had a retro-techie quality to it, could in fact be adapted to visually merge geographically with the locations of his architectural projects, almost in an immersive more personalized manner.
The following are two examples; the initial visual re-branding explorations (please excuse the lo-res pixilated imagery, it was at a development stage) and the more focused visual language of presenting his architectural work, with higher resolution architectural renderings.
