Motion Graphics production work for Pilgrim Media Group.

The first set of colorful graphics were for the TV show ‘Bring It!’. The map was a guide map of where the performers were heading to next in a competition tour. My creative vision was to create magical visuals to match the outfits of the performers, as if to spread stardust across the USA.

Worked with the motion graphics team taking existing lower-third motion graphics and ‘rotoscoped’ competing drag racers and their cars with Photoshop using vector and raster masking methods.

I then enhanced the resulting masked cars with adjustment layers to make them appear like Hot Wheels/Matchbox car toys. I pushed the contrasts, saturation, leveled out overall tones to accomplish my goals.

I put this kind of effort because I enjoy making things look, and all within time constraints and workload considerations.

I also made sure all effects layers, animations were consistent, and in place, inserting name text and everything one does with After Effects.

In addition I also was responsible for scoreboard data Quality Checking and After Effects final video output, etc.

My boss took my graphic art and ran with it and created this beauty.

How’d I get here? What am I doing!?! But… I like it.
